Occupational Evaluation and Treatment
Our evaluation includes a comprehensive assessment with a master's level therapist of your child's strengths and weaknesses in the areas of gross motor, fine motor, and sensory processing. With the results derived from the evaluation, a follow-up consult will be scheduled to discuss findings with the parent as well as develop goals for your child. From there, your child will begin receiving direct 1:1 service with an assigned therapist, working towards their goals in a supported therapeutic environment.
Parent Coaching and Consulation
Our 3:1 parent coaching model consists of 3 in-person visits, followed by 1 Telehealth visit with your child's assigned therapist. This is an opportunity for both the therapist and the parent/caregiver to connect and discuss areas being addressed in therapy, including comprehensive feedback, tools, and strategies to help you help your child.
Our basic ergonomic assessments include 3 weekly visits/sessions with a licensed COTA:
Visit 1- virtual tour of your space as well as a consultation with you and/or your child regarding your concerns
Visit 2- recommendations for your space
Visit 3- observation and reflection on strategies implemented, as well as any further recommendations needed
Our advanced ergonomic assessment includes visits with a licensed COTA and OTR
We hold community holiday sensory-events year-round for children and their families to engage in structured, safe, and fun experiences related to the time of year! These events are volunteer based, free of charge, and sponsored in-part by local businesses. We believe in the power of community, and hope that you will join us as strangers and leave as friends!
